The SKE Crystal Original 600 Prefilled Pod Kit keeps the distinctive transparent design of the original Crystal vape while replacing the single-use format with a rechargeable battery and removable cartridges. It features a 500mAh battery, USB-C charging and an integrated mesh coil, with each 2ml prefilled pod offering up to 600 puffs.

This compact device belongs to SKE's range of prefilled pod kits, making it suitable for adults who prefer ready-filled cartridges rather than the manual filling required by many refillable vape kits. The battery works with SKE Crystal Original 600 Prefilled Pods, listed separately from Crystal Pro cartridges in the SKE Crystal collection.

SKE Crystal Original 600 Flavours

The SKE Crystal Original 600 range includes berry blends, citrus, tropical fruit, menthol and sweet-inspired flavours.

The Blueberry Raspberries and Blueberry Sour Raspberry options share a blueberry base, but the sour version has a sharper finish. Fizzy Cherry is drink-inspired, while Cherry Ice focuses on fruit and cooling.

Sour Apple Ice has a more tart character than Apple Peach, where the peach softens the sharper apple notes. For a flavour without a dominant fruit profile, Tobacco offers a different option.

The available starter-kit flavours may be fewer than those offered across the full Original 600 replacement range.

SKE Crystal Original 600 Performance and Everyday Use

The Original 600 uses a fixed 11W output and a 1.2Ω mesh coil, so its draw is not adjusted through a menu or power button. The manufacturer describes relatively low airflow resistance. If the inhale feels blocked after fitting a new pod, inspect the mouthpiece for a shipping plug before assuming the coil is faulty.

SKE Crystal Original 600 Battery and Charging

The Original 600 has an LED indicator rather than a battery-percentage display. You therefore cannot calculate the exact charge remaining from a screen. If the light signals low power, recharge the battery before discarding a cartridge that may still contain e-liquid.

When the battery requires charging, connect an appropriate USB-C cable and follow the supplied charging instructions. A charging cable is not included.

SKE Crystal Original 600 Pod Replacement

The Original 600 uses a single sealed cartridge, not a separate refill bottle. When the pod is exhausted, remove it from the top of the device and fit a matching Original 600 cartridge. Avoid forcing the connection if it does not seat correctly. The built-in coil is replaced with the pod, and the cartridge cannot be manually refilled.

SKE Crystal Original 600 vs Crystal Pro 600

Although both devices are compact rechargeable kits offering up to 600 puffs per cartridge, they are distinct models. The most important difference when purchasing replacements is the pod format. The Original 600 requires cartridges intended for the Original system; the Pro 600's similar appearance and name do not establish compatibility.

Feature	Crystal Original 600	Crystal Pro 600
Battery	500mAh	400mAh

Is the SKE Crystal Original 600 Right for You?

The Original 600 keeps operation uncomplicated. There are no output modes to change, no refill bottle to handle and no coil to replace separately.

Its compact design is useful if you prefer a smaller vape rather than a bulky multi-container device. However, the fixed output and manufacturer-specific pods offer less customisation than an open refillable system.

The reusable battery also means the whole device need not be discarded whenever a cartridge runs out. When the battery eventually reaches the end of its working life, it must be taken to an appropriate electrical recycling point rather than household waste. E-Juice Couture's guide to disposing of vapes in the UK explains the relevant recycling options.

Frequently Asked Questions

Find answers to our most frequently asked questions.

Are SKE Crystal Original 600 and Crystal Pro 600 the same kit?

No. They are separate rechargeable models with different battery capacities and replacement-pod ranges. Check that both the device and cartridges are labelled Crystal Original 600 before purchasing replacements.

Is the SKE Crystal Original 600 disposable?

No. The Original 600 Prefilled Pod Kit uses a rechargeable battery with replaceable cartridges. It is different from the older single-use SKE Crystal Bar device.

Can I use SKE Crystal Original nicotine salt bottles to refill the pods?

No. The prefilled cartridges are sealed and not intended for manual refilling. SKE Crystal Original bottled e-liquids are sold for suitable refillable vape devices, not for opening or topping up Original 600 cartridges.

Why does my SKE Crystal Original 600 stop working before the pod is empty?

The battery can require charging while usable liquid remains in the cartridge. Check the LED indicator and recharge the device if necessary. If it still does not activate, inspect the pod connection and follow the supplied troubleshooting instructions.
